11th Symposium of the Belgian Wildlife Disease Society
A one-day meeting on wildlife diseases in the broadest sense, from wildlife trade and emerging viruses to vectors and conservation. Keynotes, pitches and posters at the Royal Museum for Central Africa.
Wildlife, livestock and human health are one connected system. One World, One Wildlife Health brings together researchers, vets, ecologists and students around the diseases that move through that system, and the work to understand and contain them.
This edition spans four sessions: wildlife trade, old and new viruses on the move, living with vectors, and conservation projects in the field. It is hosted at the Royal Museum for Central Africa, a fitting setting for a day that reaches from Belgian landscapes to Central African wildlife.
